The Company implemented the core system, depreciation and Barcoding modules of Hardcat Fixed Assets Management Software. The Core module is a powerful asset register that controls and tracks asset information and reporting for complete management control. On the other hand, Barcoding module is a truly innovative and cost effective solution that utilizes leading Barcoding technologies that enables efficient data collection during Audits. The beauty of the Hardcat Depreciation module is that it allows a number of sets of depreciation values to be associated with the same asset item as well as insurance and asset revaluation calculations.
Millicom implemented Hardcat Assets Management software in 2007 at their Tanzania operations- MIC Tigo. Since then Hardcat has been a major success story in the African Region and has been utilized for asset management by leading telecommunications companies namely Safaricom limited, MTN Uganda, Uganda Telcom, & Warid Telecoms among others.
